The bedrooms provide sleeping for 8 with a sofa bed available in the living room for 2 more. The basement provides a full size washer and dryer and half bathroom. Charlotte Beach, 1.8 miles east is part of Ontario Beach Park and popular place to swim, play beach volleyball, ride a restored 1905 Denzel Carousel, and enjoy free concerts Wednesday nights all summer long. Take walks along the pier, tour the Charlotte – Genesee Lighthouse, the oldest active lighthouse on Lake Ontario, and dine at one of the many fine establishments in the area. Golfers can test their skills at Lakeshore Country Club, a public 18 hole challenging course or Shore Acres Executive Course with lake views just 1.5 miles east of the residence. The time between guests has been changed to a minimum of 6 hours - check in time is after 4 pm and check out time is 10 am. Access to the cottage is contact free. The Yellow Cottage is a charming family summer home on beautiful Fair Haven/Little Sodus Bay. The cottage has 90 feet on the Bay providing expansive views of the water and beautiful summer sunsets. The cozy living space is furnished and the kitchen equipped to make your stay a comfortable vacation respite. The windowed in porch is great for dining and relaxing with a good book. A propane heater is available for cool weather comfort. There is a large new patio off the porch connecting to the back door entrance. Access to the cottage and all areas of the cottage and patio are barrier free. There is a gas grill and a charcoal grill for your use. A seasonal aluminum dock offers additional waterfront access and enjoyment ( fishing, sunbathing etc.) Boats may not be tied to the dock. Renter assumes all responsibility for safety in and around the water. Pets are not allowed. There are two bedrooms . One bedroom has a queen size bed the other has two twins which may be combined and used as a king bed. The living-room has a full size pull out couch. The enclosed porch has a full size futon for an additional private sleeping area. Sheets and towels are not provided except by request for an additional fee. The cottage is equipped with blankets and pillows. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen including stove with oven, microwave, drip coffee pot, toaster oven and toaster, crock pot and a selection of pots and pans, dishes and utensils. The cottage has cable TV and internet service. The cottage has a washer/dryer. The cottage has a whole house fan. Cool breezes off the Bay and especially in the evening give you comfortable sleeping and fresh air. There is a cleaning fee of $85 . Renters are asked to leave the cottage tidy and otherwise in the condition as when they arrived. If cleaning is in excess of 3 hours additional fees will be taken from the security deposit. During July and August there is a minimum stay of one week, 7 nights . You are welcome to inquire about multi week discounts for the Spring/Fall when there is a three night minimum stay. 2020 Update: No high water this year but if there ever is, we are ready. We have also added additional filtration to our water system. House will be professionally cleaned and sanitized between rentals. Escape from the crowds! Satellite internet(not quite as good as cable, but you can video conference, Zoom etc) allows for ability to work remotely or just stream videos and relax. This is a well maintained four bedroom, cottage, with AC (an additional stone cottage, with AC, houses the 5th bedroom, but has no bathroom) with a barn(with 'game room' on second, unfinished, floor with ping pong, foos ball, weights) and dock(holds four boats) at the foot of Grenadier Island(no bridge!), which is at the mouth of the St. Lawrence Seaway and is a part of the Thousand Islands. All the rooms offer a spectacular view of Lake Ontario and/or Basin Harbor. The house sits on approximately 700 acres of private preserve, on a 1200 acre island great for exclusive nature adventures. You are renting much more than just a house! The house itself is on seven acres of lawn, with stone fire pit by shore. Please note that new for 2019 was AC throughout house with ductless ultra quiet units. We have also purchased a commercial insect fogger to reduce or eliminate (or close to it!) any mosquitoes or other insects around house. Spraying done regularly, when guests not present. The house has the charm of an old stone house with the comforts and conveniences of a new home. There is a large master bedroom with a private balcony and ensuite tossed marble bathroom, a bedroom with a queen bed and another with a pair of twin beds and lounge area(including pull out sofa), as well as a 4 bed bunk room with a loft. The separate stone cottage contains a full size bed. The two other bathrooms(all bathrooms have at least a shower) are relatively new, and tiled in marble as well. The full kitchen has almost every convenience; including a kitchen aide, ice cream maker, warming drawer, and waffle iron. Grenadier Island is nicknamed 'The Paradise of Kings'(but should be Queens as well). On the island you can hike, swim (use of a private beach at the head of the island as well as, flat stone beach by the house), boat, bird watch, mountain bike, fish, water ski, tube, and more! (provided with rental are: canoe, 2 kayaks, and a paddle board .There is even a restored 19th century one story school house on property with original desks. Click video button in 'Video' section above to see activities on Island and beach(put together on GoPro by my son as part of his weekend in September (weather can still be very nice in September). Please note that the cliff jumping was not on the Island but part of a boat tour into the Thousand Islands nearby. All other pictures are on the island or beach on west side. In September/October, there is still plenty to do, from apple picking(numerous apple trees on property, hiking, bon fires by newly renovated fire pit, or just reading by the two fireplaces. If you choose to leave this bit of paradise, then you can go ashore where you can find tennis, golf, shopping, movies, museums, bars, restaurants, etc., or head over to Kingston, Canada which is about 40 minutes away by boat. (It's a bit longer if you take the Ferry from Cape Vincent), or go to Cape Vincent by 15 minute boat ride, to visit one of its stores or restaurants USE OF BOAT REQUIRED to get to and from the island(5 to ten minute boat ride). Boat rental possible with owner. Caretaker will meet you at marina when you first arrive and follow you out in your boat and show you around. Thank you for your interest in renting our house (we call it camp). We think it is paradise. The camp has been in our family since 1951 when my husband's grandfather bought it. He has been to camp every year of his life. It is a very special place. The camp is 50 feet from Lake Ontario, and Cranberry Pond is on the other side. You will be able to swim and watch sunsets in your front yard, sunrises from the backyard. Details: The camp has 3 bedrooms, one bathroom (shower, no tub), kitchen, living/dining room and enclosed front sun room. One bedroom has a queen bed, work desk and sitting area, one has a full bed, and the other has two single beds. Additionally, there is a futon that sleeps 2 and a daybed. There is potable water in the kitchen and bathroom sink. The rest of the house water is from a well. There is an oven, microwave, toaster, skillet, blender, dishes, utensils, serving platters, washer/dryer, etc. There is a gas grill outside and an outdoor fireplace (build by grandpa), picnic table, etc. There is also a TV and DVD player (the TV does not get any channels; you can bring a streaming device). Lake Ontario is the front yard, usually pretty shallow for some distance before getting deeper. There are a few other beaches a short walk away and all accessible to Montario Pt. residents and guests. Camp is just south of Southwick Beach State Park, and 45 min. N of Syracuse. The Neighborhood The neighborhood is a quiet summer residential neighborhood on a private gravel road nestled between Lake Ontario and Cranberry Pond. Our neighbors and their families have been in these homes for generations. Getting Around Montario Pt. is in Mannsville, NY, about 45 min. N of Syracuse, and 15 min. from Pulaski, just off Route 3. Boat launch/popular kayaking destination is just down the road at South Colwell Pond. Other Things to Note Bring your own bedding. There is potable water in the kitchen sink and bathroom sink. The rest of the house water is from a well. Please note that the house is on septic, so be aware of water usage (showers, flushes, laundry). There is no trash pickup during your stay. You must take all trash and recycling to the dump or take it with you when you leave. There is no cleaning service between renters. Please leave time to clean the camp before you leave.

Welcome to our little piece of paradise. This is a 40 foot RV in like new condition. It has a queen size master, a bunkhouse and a comfortable pullout in the living room area. The space is suitable for 2 couples or a small family. The property is located just1 mile west of Sodus Point and beautiful Sodus Point Beach. There is a large community pool that is open limited hours during the months of July and August. The RV is on a double lot in a private campground. There is a patio table with a propane firepit in the center that seats 4 - 6. Relax and enjoy watching the boats pass by on Lake Ontario. There is also a wood firepit and folding chairs are provided. Our views of the lake are beautiful and so are the sunsets. The kitchen is well equipped for meal prep and a French press coffee maker is available. Linens and towels are provided as well as soap and shampoo. Please bring your own beach towels. The residents in the campground own their lots. Please be respectful and do not walk through the property of others. Parties are not allowed at this property, but please enjoy yourself and have fun! Sodus Point offers some of the best restaurants around and you can always find entertainment in town. We are close to marina's for boating and fishing. You can also explore Beachwood Park for hiking and great views of the lake.

Located atop a small bluff, Moon Beach Cabin is the perfect getaway. There is no beach access on the property -- Lake Ontario removed it! Great view, great air and great ambience -- relax and enjoy! Be advised, cell phone reception at Moon Beach Cabin is very spotty. Verizon is the most successful carrier, but even that comes and goes. There is wifi, which tends to be more reliable.

We are very pleased to announce that the Salmon River (Selkirk) Lighthouse is open and available for guided or self-guided tours both outside AND inside of this 1838 structure. We will conduct this hosted "Open House" for all visitors on the third (3rd) Sunday of each month from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. for the duration of our operating season each year, typically May through November, local weather-dependent). ? We will continue to hold an Open House in our Lighthouse in upcoming years during our operational season typically beginning in April and ending in November each year. We invite everyone to visit and experience the mystique of this grand structure and to learn all about its history from a member of our knowledgeable staff, from our FREE printed historical handout packets or from one of the informational interpretive displays on-site. One of two large living rooms features a brick fireplace, and the kitchen is fully equipped, including new (in 2014) major appliances. There is one bedroom downstairs and there are two upstairs. The three bedrooms will sleep as many as six total, with a double bed in each. Marina boat slips are available if you have a boat of your own, with a new (2015) boat launch ramp on-site or you can rent a motorized fishing boat at the Marina during your stay. But you don't need to be a fisherman to enjoy the annual late summer and fall excitement of the Salmon Run up the river. The private lakefront beach and the river are beautiful in the spring and fall, and a romantic spot for couples to enjoy.
